Tasteless Pricks — Website Design

Project Overview

Tasteless Pricks is a retail brand that prides itself on obtaining archived or out-of-season fashion products. The aim is to relieve the stress on the consumers looking for these items by providing a trusted platform for discovery.

Problem Statement

The main obstacle the brand is facing is its lack of a formal online presence. It operates off social media and lacks an e-commerce platform.

Proposed Solution

The goal was to design an e-commerce platform that provides an automated retail process thereby, alleviating the stress on both the consumer and business.

Design Workflow

This project followed the traditional design thinking approach. We began by conducting user interviews to discover the problems the users face.

This empathy phase then led us to create user personas based on the feedback we received.

User Persona

To make the design process more human-centric, we created fictional personalities of real-life people.

We focused on their challenges, pain points, strengths and weaknesses to create a sense of empathy in the designers trying to solve the user issues.

His Goals

  • To find a reliable platform that provides him with out-of-season items.
  • To save time.

Ideation

During this process we were able to create the site map and the wireframes.

The site map allowed us to have a holistic view of the platform's architecture, which led to us designing low-fidelity wireframes.
